If you want to pursue a career in business administration within an office environment as an team leader, budget manager or senior administration assistance, then this is an excellent place to start. This course will provide you with the underpinning skills and knowledge to begin a career in the industry.
The course includes knowledge on communication in a business environment, principles of business communication and information, principles of administration and business and how to manage personal performance and development.
Upon successful completion you may be able to progress onto the Higher Level 4 Business Administration Apprenticeship.
You should be working in a relevant placement for a minimum of 30 hours per week. GCSE’s in Maths, English and ICT at Grade C are desirable. In addition, you should be able to evidence their ability to work at Level 1 in English, Maths and ICT.
Assessment is a combination of practical tasks, written assignments, observations within the workplace, online written assignments, online tests and discussions.
