If you wish to pursue a career in an exciting and diverse industry and are good with practical work and have an eye for detail, Technical Supervision & Management could be a great career for you. This qualification is appropriate for employees in the construction and built environment sector working at a technical level in disciplines such as estimating, buying, planning, surveying, site technical support and design co-ordination. It is designed to assess occupational competence in the workplace where learners are required to demonstrate skills and knowledge to a level required in the construction industry.
Completion of this programme can lead to full-time employment as an electrician, following completion of work based learning (NVQ), or other options for further education such as a HNC qualification.
You will need 4 GCSE’s including English and Maths (minimum Grade C). You must also be employed for a minimum of 30 hours a week.
Assessment is a combination of practical observations within the workplace and online written assignments.
