Taught in our industry standard vehicle workshops using the latest specialist equipment you will be involved in: how to complete routine maintenance on a variety of vehicles and associated systems. Use diagnostic equipment to assist with maintenance activities.

This qualification can help you to progress in a wide range of roles within the automotive industry including careers as a vehicle maintenance (PSV & HGV) technician or perhaps into associated industries such as car, truck or motorbike mechanic/technician. Completion of this programme can lead to full-time employment as a vehicle maintenance technician, following completion of work based learning (NVQ), or other options for further education such as an Advanced Apprenticeship.
You must be employed for a minimum of 30 hours a week.
Assessment is a combination of practical observations within the workplace and online written assignments.
