If you want to pursue a career working within a warehousing and storage environment dealing with the movement and storage of goods then this is an excellent place to start. This course will provide you with the underpinning skills and knowledge to begin a career in the industry.
The course includes knowledge on developing effective working relationships with colleagues in logistics operations, health and safety in the workplace, pick goods in logistic operations, wrap and pack goods and place goods in storage in logistic operations.
Upon successful completion you may be able to progress onto the advance Level 3 Apprenticeship in Warehousing and Storage.
You must have good verbal communication skills and the potential to gain evidence for the qualification in the workplace. You should be able to evidence their ability to work at Entry Level 3 in both literacy and numeracy and be working a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Assessment is a combination of practical tasks, written assignments, observations within the workplace, online written assignments, online tests and discussions.
