Graduate Employability Skills The new programme is highly vocational and has been designed to ensure that graduates have opportunities throughout the course to engage with businesses from across the local area. The ‘Vocational Credit’ bursary scheme is also available for students studying on this programme, which offers the opportunity to achieve additional vocational qualifications from a range of opportunities offered by the college including AAT Accounting courses, ILM qualifications and CIPD qualifications.

Study DetailsYou will study on the Lincoln College Campus for the full duration of the course. Full Time - 3 Years; Course contact hours are to be confirmed.
Whilst the sessions delivered at College will typically fall between Monday and Friday from 9am – 5pm, it is expected that students will complete the online study, in addition to the independent study, outside of these times. Students should also make themselves available to complete work experience hours outside of these times. Many of the opportunities offered through the college will require commitment during evenings and weekends.
BTEC National (Diploma or Extended Diploma) in a relevant subject
GCE A and AS Levels with at least one subject at A Level
Scottish Higher/Advanced Higher with at least one subject at Advanced Higher.
For mature applicants some experience may be taken in lieu of A Levels/BTECS
GCSE English - Grade C or above
GCSE Maths - Grade C or above
EU and International applicants
NARIC confirmed equivalent of 64 UCAS points
IELTS with an overall score of 6.0 and a minimum of 5.5 in each component. Equivalent English language qualifications are acceptable for applicants not requiring a Tier 4 student visa.

Graduates from this programme who wish to study further would be encouraged to progress with the University of Hull to either:

ADDITIONAL COURSE COSTS
Uniform - approx. £35 (compulsory); DBS check - £44 (compulsory); Basic first aid course - approx. £60 (compulsory); Towel - approx. £5 (compulsory)
Additional compulsory course costs will be paid for using the Lincoln College Bursary / Vocational Credit scheme. The scheme allows students to access the remainder of the Vocational Credit (up to a maximum value of £500 / £250) for additional optional courses, workshops, professional memberships and resources. There is no cash alternative. Students who wish to access opportunities in excess of the Vocational Credit may do so at full cost to themselves.
