You will study on the Lincoln College Campus for the full duration of the course. Part Time - 6 Years Course contact hours are to be confirmed. Whilst the sessions delivered at College will typically fall between Monday and Friday from 9am – 5pm, it is expected that students will complete the online study, in addition to the independent study, outside of these times. Students should also make themselves available to complete work experience hours outside of these times. Many of the opportunities offered through the college will require commitment during evenings and weekends.

A minimum of 64 UCAS Tariff points from the following: GCE A and AS Levels BTEC National (90 Credit Diploma, Diploma or Extended Diploma) in a relevant subject Scottish Higher/Advanced Higher with at least one subject at Advanced Higher. For mature applicants, experience may be taken in lieu of qualifications that carry UCAS Tariff points. Plus GCSE English Language – grade C/4 or above GCSE Maths – grade C/4 or above (Level 2 Functional skills is not taken as an equivalent)

NARIC confirmed equivalent of 64 UCAS points
IELTS with an overall score of 6.0 and a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
Equivalent English language qualifications are acceptable for applicants not requiring a Tier 4 visa
If you are a Tier 4 visa applicant, you can only apply for a full time course .
The assessment methods typically used throughout the programme include: Coursework Portfolios Assessments Essays Presentations (group) Case Studies Reports Websites Progression On successful completion of this course, graduates have a strong set of practical skills for pursuing a career within the computing and IT industry. Graduates will have the capability to adapt and respond to the changing and diverse nature of the sector. Graduates could also complete postgraduate courses at an alternative university or pursue a teacher training qualification.

Tuition fees will remain unchanged for the duration of a student’s continuous enrolment.
Additional Course Costs
Textbooks – varying costs (optional)
Additional compulsory course costs will be paid for using the Career Degree Bursary. The scheme allows students to access the remainder of the bursary (up to a maximum value of £500 / £250) for additional optional courses, workshops, professional memberships and resources. There is no cash alternative. Students who wish to access opportunities in excess of the Bursary may do so at full cost to themselves.
