This course normally runs for three and a half hours per week for a full academic year (September to June) at both our Lincoln and Newark campuses. Newark campus lessons will be twilight sessions (16.00-19.30h) commencing Wednesday 5 September 2018.
We consider every application on an individual basis and would be happy to have an informal discussion should you wish to talk about your current qualifications and experience.
This qualification is predominantly assessed through a portfolio of evidence demonstrating your construction of knowledge and practical ability to plan, deliver and reflect on teaching and training. You will complete 6 units during the course, which are as follows:
In addition to your portfolio work you will also be observed delivering lessons on at least 3 occasions by a tutor from the teacher training team. These observations are supportive and provide trainees with an opportunity to experiment with new strategies and then engage in a developmental conversation afterwards to support continued improvement in practice.
This course will cost £1,316.00.
You may be eligible to apply for an Advanced Learner Loan; for further information visit: www.lincolncollege.ac.uk/support/money-matters
