The is a two year programme that is intended for Mechanical Engineering Technicians employed in design, manufacturing, maintenance, energy supply industries, Royal Air Force, Regional Hospitals and Local Authorities.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to further develop your opportunities within the Mechanical Engineering sector.
During this programme, you will study practices relating to high level practical and theoretical manufacturing engineering techniques. These include advanced milling skills, turning skills, joining and fixing methods and the properties, behaviours and qualities of materials employed.
There are no formal entry requirements but appropriate experience is a requirement.
Assessment is a through a combination of practical assessments and knowledge examinations.
