GCE A Level in Religious Studies Level 3

This programme allows you to study ethics and develop your skills in analysing ideas and arguments. The application of knowledge gained is invaluable in many contexts and is excellent preparation for a number of popular and demanding undergraduate courses and is recognised as a strong, academic qualification by all universities. Progression from this course includes opportunities to study in Higher Education and could lead to careers such as teaching, social work and carrying professions. On this programme you will study a range of units, including: AS Level: Religion, Contemporary Society, Philosophy of religion, Biblical Studies A-Level: Feminist Theology, Black Led Churches and Religious Fundamentalism.

You will need 5 GCSEs (minimum grade 4 or equivalent), to include Mathematics (mininum grade 4 or equivalent) and English Language (minimum grade 5 or equivalent).

Assessment is by written examinations.
