New course to upskill teachers and trainers in digital skills

12 lecturers from across the College achieved the accreditation as part of a training trial for the course.

Now this Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) training is being made available to lecturers, teachers and trainers cross the region.

The MCE validates that educators have the global educator technology literacy competencies needed to provide a rich, custom learning experience for their students.

The qualification is ideal for educators-in-training and in-service educators.

The certification consists of six three-hour sessions spread over the course of six months and one exam at the end.

The College are also about to launch their Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification courses which are designed for anyone who wants to show they have the skills needed to get the most out of Microsoft Office software.

Lincoln College Group CEO Gary Headland said: “In the fourth industrial revolution we need to be capable of operating because we’re educating the next generation and this certification allows us to do that.”

Any universities, schools, colleges or business training departments interested in upskilling staff in digital delivery with one of Lincoln College’s Microsoft certified courses you can call 030 030 32435 or email enquiries@lincolncollege.ac.uk.
