Newark College is a vibrant, friendly, welcoming place which offers excellent resources, facilities and opportunities for students.
We want every one of our students to have a great time with us and remember the experience for years to come. You will have the chance to join in with social activities, sports, trips, work experience and much more!
Enjoy student life at Newark College and let us help you reach your potential both inside and outside the classroom.
Newark has an interesting history dating back to 1068 when Newark Castle, parts of which still remain, was built.
Today the town offers a full range of facilities, affordable housing and a traditional community atmosphere.
The town has a vibrant market 4 days a week and is host to a growing number of events that celebrate music including jazz and folk festivals.
Coming to college is all about developing your independence, making new friends, taking advantage of new opportunities and learning new skills for your future career; the more you put in, the more you will get out of college life.

Lincoln College Students’ Union (LCSU) represents its students based across all three campuses (Lincoln, Newark & Gainsborough). We are based in the Student Common Room, Monks Building, Lincoln.
We run various events and activities and also support students to start clubs/groups/societies across the campuses. We also have fantastic opportunities for students to get involved with college life.
We take pride in our representation of our students and as well as our SU Officer positions we also have Class Representatives and Student Council Representatives. The student is at the forefront of what we do.
We run elections twice a year, at the end of one academic year and the beginning of the next.
